Mohamed Dahir Mohamednoor

Director of Operations

Mohamed Dahir aka Murshid Dahir is a founding director of Rufmo and is the man at the helm of the company’s operations.

He oversees the operational aspects of the company strategy and is responsible for the flow of operations information to the CEO and the board. 

Mohamed brings expertise in organizational management and Participatory Action Research. He has over 10 years’ experience working with local and International organizations such as Interpeace and National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) in areas of peace and conflict resolution.

He is the lead researcher/author of a landmark study carried out by NCIC and Interpeace entitled ‘Voices of the People: Challenges to Peace in Mandera County’ https://www.interpeace.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/2017-ECA-Kenia-Mandera-County-Note.pdf

He spent years supporting dialogue initiatives aimed at addressing inter-communal conflicts in North-Eastern Kenya and enormously contributed to the recently ratified Mandera Customary Law Resolution. 

Mohamed, a father of four, has passion for writing, reading and making adventurous travels. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Armed Conflict from the University of Nairobi and is pursuing MA in Peace and Conflict Studies at Coventry University, UK.
